Harvest Sunday is soon to arrive, and we here at The Essential Church are planning for a time of rejoicing in the Lord.

We want to send you yet another reminder about our Harvest Sunday 2017 service. Our Pastor has been given a word from the Lord, and Pastor Richardson wants to share it with each of you.

The service will be recorded and uploaded on our social media pages at Twitter, Facebook, and Google+, so feel free to reach us there. We intend to have a joyous time in the Lord and expect to receive a Word from the Lord.

With this Sunday being the last Sunday in October, we’re looking to November and the Thanksgiving holiday. In order to honor the Lord and commemorate this glorious holiday in which we have so much to be thankful for, The Essential Church is celebrating Thanksgiving Month in November, the entire month. Every sermon preached will be a sermon on the subject of Giving Thanks (“thanksgiving” consists of two words, “thanks” and “giving”). Our official Thanksgiving service in honor of the holiday will take place on Sunday, November 19th, at 11AM EST. We ask that if you can, prepare to listen in on our service as the recording becomes available. Those who cannot listen in, please pray for us.

Additionally, we are considering a study of Romans and Calvinism for the month of November, with the examination of a few chapters of study in Paul’s Epistle to the Romans. We’ve tackled John 6 and Calvinism this month (here, too), and we look to bring down Calvinist proof-texting next month with a study of another classic book that has been tainted by Calvinism, Romans. Romans chapters 9-11, considered to be the heart of the Calvinist proof-texting in Romans, will be discussed at length. Prepare to examine Romans to see Calvinism refuted before your eyes.

These are our announcements for now. Keep these in mind, write them on your calendar, place them in your smartphone and mobile devices (or on your PC), and keep them in mind in the coming days. For those who need prayer and have a prayer request, or desire to join our Bible Study, contact us at essentialpastor@gmail.com with your name and a little bit about yourself.

We love you and are always lifting you up in prayer.

In Him,

Pastor D.M. Richardson
