Praise the Lord, church! We’re back today with Part 2E of our series on Why We Don’t Celebrate Easter. Today’s work covers two additional passages of Scripture about God’s issue with the name “Easter.” The end of the session dives into the origins of Easter traditions, where Easter eggs, rabbits, and Easter Egg Hunts come from. The History Channel tells us that these things are not biblical in nature, that one cannot find them in the Bible. Of course, Christians have arguments as to why they’ve adopted these pagan traditions – but those pagan traditions can’t be Christian because they’re not of God.

We’re headed to the end of the series next week. And, my apologies for those who visited Part 2D of the series last week and didn’t find the audio recording. I accidentally deleted it. It has been added for your enrichment and edification.

We look forward to seeing you next week. Our series is headed to its end, but even during the end and afterward, God is still speaking. We pray His blessings upon you until then.

In Him,

Pastor D.M. Richardson
